Harvest Monday April 28 2014

And so it's begins!
It is not much and not every day, but it is a start!

 Garden view from the deck.
Still a lot of work.
 Container greens

 Cold frame greens

I planted most of the kale on black fabric this year.

and most of the new strawberries.
And I am growing the Andean tubers the first year, I am so excited!
This one is mashua.
 This is ulluco, just started.
And 2 types of oca (oxalis tuberosa) - Hopin and Sunset.

Shared at: Daphne’s Dandelions “Harvest Monday” where everyone can share links to their harvest or how they are using their harvests for the week.

  2. I like the overview photo too, but I'm having trouble with the scale of it. It looks smaller than it obviously is. I'm assuming the arch can be walked under. But for some reason my brain thinks it is only about four feet tall.

  4. Oh, the garden is small, for me now, I am expanding it every year, I started from 2 raised beds. The work is still in process, you see the fence is not done and the flower bed in front of the fence. For the arch I used 8 ft post. And I really need more space now! :)
