Frozen Parsley - Thursday's Kitchen Cupboard 5/24

I know I am not new with this recipe, I just have a lot of parsley and cilantro and I decided to freeze some.

It was two big bunches of plain parsley,
I blended it with some water, 1 tbsp olive oil and 5 gloves garlic

I believe those cubes will be very good in winter soups.

Please look at Robin's blog The Gardener of Eden for the rest of the Thursday's Kitchen Cupboard posts.

This little one was enjoying sun on my deck today!  Do you know the name of this snake?

  1. This is new to me. I have never made a pesto with parsley. I have made it with basil and garlic scapes and froze that.

I have no idea what type of snake that is.

Thanks for sharing and joining in!

  2. your snake is harmless but keeps your rodents under control: http://www.fcps.edu/islandcreekes/ecology/northern_ringneck_snake.htm

  3. That's a great way to preserve herbs for later and I bet it will be perfect in a pot of soup in winter. Your snake definitely looks like a ringneck- very good to have around.
