November madness - seeds starting!

Do you think I am crazy? Yes I do!
this is November, yesterday was snowing.....and I am starting new seeds!
Actually I have unheated room over the garage, very sunny, that I use for storage and plants.

So I think I need more greens.
I am using coffee filters and zip-lock bags for starting.

There will be some new lettuces, komatsuna mustard, cilantro, swiss chard, carrot and probably basil. will see.

And there are my 2 wees old radishes next to store bought onion green.
 1 month old beets
2 weeks old asian cabbages, broccoli raab, tat soy
and my favorite - Kale (this time redbor).

New Season Garden Fence

Yes, it is November and I am dreaming about new season vegetable garden.
That will be my full second year, and I wish I can do it more serious, productive and beautiful

There you can see my old fence. not very sturdy.

So I bought 2  4x4 post and asked in a store to cut them by 4 feet. Now I have 4 4-feet post.
I reuse last year 40 inches green wire.
I also bought 1x2x8 long wooden strips and 2x3x4 wooden post.

There is a corner block .

One block is ready to be nailed (I use U-nails to attach wire to the wooden posts.)
The end of day first - 4 blocks

Harvest Monday, raw diet and November garden update

Sorry, I missed some month.
I love my garden, recently we started a raw food diet after some years of vegans and this is great!

Everyday we can eat raw organic salad from my garden, I'm just buying tomatoes and peppers.

I have a lot of greens, and even after the Sandy and a  huge snow storm in New England the greens look great.

I do not have pictures of everyday bunch of greens, just  beds.

I made a simple cold frame and planted
 there radishes, kale and cilantro.

 Winter carrots
Daikon radish - 2 finger thick!
Asian greens - tat soy, mizuna, bok choy and swiss chard
 Bok choy - my favorite!
 Kale
 Komatsuna mustard

 Collard
